Police continue to strengthen action against online financial fraud in Ernakulam. In a recent case, an elderly man from Aluva was allegedly defrauded of more than ₹1 crore through a “virtual arrest” scam, leading to the arrest of a suspect by the Ernakulam Rural Cyber Police.
